General disinfection: For disinfecting seed trays, pots, animal houses, cages and equipment
Footrot and scald: Use solution in a footbath as part of a footrot control programme. Solutions should be made up freshly for each treatment and discarded after as strength can vary over time. Small smooth stones in the footbath will help open up the hoof and improve chemical penetration. Infected animals should have their feet pared before going through the footbath. The bath should be deep enough to just cover the coronet. Contact time should be at least 30 seconds but no longer than 5 minutes. After treatment, hold animals in a dry area for at least half an hour and let them out onto clean pasture. Repeat at weekly intervals until symptoms disappear.
