Dosage For Ulcers: Smear the ointment over the affected area 1 to 2mm in thickness. Every 4 to 6 hours gently lift off residual ointment and metabolic by-products by applying a sterilised guaze and then apply fresh ointment. For minor Scalding and Burns, including sunburn: smear ointment to 1mm thickness over the burn as quickly as possible. Gently wipe off residual ointment every 4 to 6 hours and reapply. For more serious Burns: smear ointment to a 2mm thickness. Carefully cut any blisters and remove fluid.Do Not remove affected tissue at this stage. Every 4 to 6 hours wipe off the residual ointment and reapply. Do not use disinfectant or water to clean the affected area. Healing usually takes 6 to 7 days.
